BALMORAL SDA SCHOOL is a state integrated U3, decile 5 full-primary school with a special Christian character. Though governed by its local Board of Trustees it is owned and operated by the New Zealand Seventh-Day Adventist Schools Association. This body shares the responsibility with the BOT and the school's management for ensuring the maintenance of its special character.
The school is situated at 10 Wiremu Street, Balmoral, on 7056 square metres of land. It was established on its present site in 1950 by the amalgamation of the Auckland SDA High School with Royal Oak and Remuera SDA Primary Schools. It became an integrated school in March 1993. It is currently a four teacher + 0.80 principal school, with a roll of 98 and comprises of the following facilities: 4 classrooms, information centre (library + computer suite), learning support centre, art room, music room and a multi-purpose hall.
